Our beautiful Beit Tefillah is the culmination of many years of dedicated development, reflecting the Jewish value of Hiddur Mitzvah (keeping the mitzvot in the most beautiful way possible).
Among the highlights are: our stained glass windows, made by Alyth member Roman Halter (1927-2012) and his son Ardyn; the Ner Tamid (everlasting light) which was designed by Benno Elkan (1887-1960) who also designed the Menorah outside the Knesset in Jerusalem; the Shraga Weil wall hangings; and our beautiful ark doors, designed and built by furniture maker Toby Winteringham and designer Grace Winteringham.
