Shabbat B’yachad (Shabbat Together) is always a joy. It is not your typical chavurah/communal supper as Lynette does all the cooking – so you can guarantee a tasty Shabbat meal made with love! Everyone else is asked to provide fruit and chocolates for dessert.
The supper is in true Shabbat style, informal but recognising that we are welcoming the Shabbat with the usual blessings, zmirot and Birkat Hamazon. The company is always good and, as well as some regulars, there are invariably new people/families to welcome. For some, the greatest element is the cross-generational interaction as we often have an age range of 5-95 years.
If you find yourself alone or want a different Shabbat experience, do consider this wonderful community offering – look out for the next one in the weekly email or in our calendar.
