It is vital for us to call upon our community to ensure the safety and security of our friends, family, visitors and building users, and to make all members feel welcome. The Community Security Trust is clear that volunteer security is the most effective for communal organisations and synagogues. In addition, at Alyth, we are aware that it is also the best way to ensure that security provides a friendly welcome to everyone who attends services.
We, therefore, ask you to be part of the Alyth security team and help to make Alyth a welcoming and secure building. If you would like to take a more active role in the security at Alyth, there are a number of opportunities. You could become a Duty Officer (running shifts up to 6 times a year – all training provided free of charge and the more people who do it the less number of times each person is needed), a team coordinator (coordinating a small number of people to attend shifts throughout the year), or simply agreeing to take on a couple of extra shifts a year. All of these roles will help to ensure the safety and security of our community at Alyth.
The aim of the security we do at Alyth is to ensure that our community is able to continue to grow and thrive and maintain the incredible number of activities we all enjoy and for many of us is the reason we are part of Alyth. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance which we very much appreciate.
If you would like to volunteer in any way please contact the office.
